Crown Gifts At Home Products (including Gift Certificates and Gift Cards) - Terms and Conditions
The website http://www.crowngifts.com.au/ ('Website') is operated by Crown Melbourne Limited (ABN 46 006 973 262) of 8 Whiteman Street, Southbank, Victoria 3006 ('Crown').
For the purposes of this Agreement, the term 'Goods' means the Crown Gifts At Home Products specified on the Website (including Crown Gift Certificates and Gift Cards) and which are ordered by you by completing the approved ordering process.
The sale of Goods on this Website is subject to the terms and conditions of this agreement ('Agreement'). This Agreement is a contract between Crown and the customer ('you').
2. Australia Only
Goods are only available to be delivered to an Australian address. For international purchases and postage queries, contact Crown Gifts on +61 3 9292 5927.
3. Ordering Goods
You may order Goods by completing the approved ordering process on the Website or by completing a manual order form in accordance with Crown's procedures as specified on the Website ('Order').
You must fully and accurately complete all ordering details.
Orders are deemed to have been received once the Order has been successfully transmitted and the Order is acknowledged to have been accepted by the website.
4. Payment and Price
The prices payable for the Goods are the prices specified on the Website.
The prices are subject to change without notice by Crown.
The prices include goods and services tax except in the case of Crown Gift Certificates and Gift Cards where GST only applies to the goods or services redeemed with the certificate and/or card.
Payment can only be made by using the approved credit cards specified at Frequently Asked Questions ('FAQ'). To view, click here
You will also need to pay a delivery fee for the Goods depending on your preferred method delivery as described in paragraph 5 below.
5. Delivery of Goods
Delivery to your nominated address is available by the options specified at Frequently Asked Questions ('FAQ'). To view, click here
Crown will use its best efforts to supply the Goods ordered by you. Goods are subject to availability and where Goods are not available to be ordered, the Website will indicate that they are not available.
Goods can be delivered to a physical address and a post office box.
Crown will use its best endeavours to arrange delivery within 5 days of receipt of an order in metropolitan areas. Longer periods may apply to country areas.
When Goods are delivered the receiver of the Goods will be deemed to have been authorised to accept the Goods on your behalf if you are not present at the time of delivery.
Where Crown is not able to deliver the Goods, you will need to collect the Goods from a post office. Any items for click and collect at Crown Melbourne, Crown Perth or Crown Sydney must show photo identification and the tax invoice at point of collection, you are are unable to nominate another individual on your behalf to pick up the item.
6. Faulty Goods
In complying with our legal responsibilities, as set out further below, Crown will repair or replace Goods or provide a refund, as applicable, where Goods do not meet one of the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.
Our goods (including At Home) come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Goods including At Home cannot be returned for change of mind.
To the extent our goods are not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use of consumption, then we limit our liability to repair or replacement of goods, or supplying services again or payment for the cost of supplying services again, in accordance with section 64A of the Australian Consumer Law.
Items marked 'Crown Gifts' can be returned as follows:
- In person: By appointment which can be made with a Crown Gifts team member by calling 03 9292 5927 or at the Crown Gifts store at Crown Melbourne.
- By post: Crown Gifts, 8 Whiteman Street, Southbank, Victoria, 3006.
Proof of purchase will be required and Crown may require photo identification.
Crown Gift Cards are not able to be returned for a change of mind (except as required by law).
7. Crown Rewards
Crown Rewards members can earn Crown Rewards points through the purchase of goods instore only (excluding the purchase of gift cards). Points will be awarded on redemption of a gift card only. Crown Rewards points can be redeemed to purchase product in store (excluding gift cards).
8. Other Matters
This agreement is subject to the laws of Victoria and the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

Title to the Goods passes to you on delivery at your nominated address.
Changes to these Terms and Conditions
Crown may be required to change these terms and conditions from time-to-time. Such changes may include changes to the nature and type of offers made by Crown and to the venues or facilities where a Crown Gift Certificate or Gift Card can be redeemed. Crown will detail any changes by updating this web site and changes will take affect from the date they are updated.
Crown Gift Certificates and Gift Cards - Terms and Conditions
1. General Rules for Gift Cards for Crown Melbourne, Crown Perth, Crown Sydney
A Crown Gift Card is a valuable document and should be kept in a safe place. Crown Gift cards will not be replaced if lost or stolen except where the bearer has proof of purchase Crown satisfied that the card has not been used.This gift card is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash or products thereof (except where otherwise specified). All Crown Gifts offers are subject to availability. Crown Gifts Promotions cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion that is provided by Crown Gifts, Crown Melbourne. A Crown Gift Card is valid for 36 months from the date of purchase unless noted otherwise. All Crown Gifts are subject to availability. A Crown Gift Certificate/cards may not be valid during special event periods and will be deemed void if not redeemed by the expiry date. Bookings are recommended. Gift cards cannot be redeemed for another gift card or packages via Crown Gifts online. All gift cards including accommodation packages must be fully redeemed at a participating outlet in person prior to the written expiry date indicated on the giftcard. All packages and denominations distributed via Crown Gifts are issued as a gift card.
Crown Hotels Gift Certificate Accommodation Denominations
Hotel Accommodation Denomination Gift Certificates for $100 & $250 are no longer available to purchase at Crown Melbourne via Crown Gifts. Current denomination certificates are only valid at Crown Melbourne Hotels; these certificates are still valid and can be redeemed up to the expiry date. 2. General Rules for Gift Cards

Terms and Conditions of use:
- Treat this card like cash.
- Defaced, mutilated, altered, lost or stolen cards will not be replaced, refunded or redeemed.
- This card is redeemable for goods or services (excluding gaming) at participating venues in Australia only. See http://www.crowngifts.com.au/ or call 1300 553 380 for current list of venues available.
- Not redeemable for cash and cannot be used for payment of credit or retailer accounts.
- Must be redeemed before expiry date shown on card.
- Will be void and may not be redeemed after expiry date.
- Cannot be reloaded.
- Is partially redeemable.
- It is up to you to use the full value before expiry date.
- Cash will not be given for any unused balance.
- Unused balance on expiry of this card will not be refunded or credited.
- If purchase exceeds available card balance, you must make up the difference with an alternative form of payment.
- You are liable for all transactions on your card except to the extent to which there has been fraud or negligence by us or any of our employees.
- We reserve the right to change any terms contained in these Terms and Conditions at any time.
- Gift cards cannot be used for promotional purposes (including competitions) without prior written consent from Crown Gifts.
- Check available card balance by calling 1300 553 380.
- Contact the help desk on 1300 553 380 if you have any reason to believe an error has occurred in relation to this card.

3. Hotel Accommodation
Hotel guests will be required to present their Crown Gift Certificate or Gift Card on check-in and provide their own credit card or cash deposit (with valid photo identification) per night of stay in accordance with the relevant hotel's check-in procedures. Remaining monies will be refunded on check-out. We recommend reservations be made in advance, particularly for weekend stays. Please note some Saturday night bookings may be subject to multiple night stays.
Advance Purchase: Please note Advanced Purchase bookings or third party sites cannot be redeemed with accommodation gift certificates and gift cards. Crown Rewards promotions may also excluded, please refer to terms and conditions outlined in the promotion.
Late Check-Out Accommodation Enhancement - Terms and Conditions: Late check-out voucher must be used in conjunction with purchased accommodation gift voucher. Late check-out is subject to availability at time of booking. When making a redemption, guest must quote late check-out gift voucher number to reservations when booking accommodation. Late check-out excludes special event periods. Late check-out voucher valid for 12 months from date of purchase. Late check-out voucher subject to terms and conditions of the purchased accommodation voucher.
4. Crown Spa
Crown Spa gift certificates and gift cards will be deemed void if either notice of cancellation for a treatment is received within three (3) hours of the scheduled appointment time, or if the holder defaults on their scheduled appointment. Spa Packages require 24-hours' notice for cancellation or the gift certificate or gift card will be deemed void.
5. Crown Operated Restaurants
Note: This section is only applicable to Gift Certificates.
Crown Restaurant Gift Certificates ($50, $100, $150) are valid at participating Crown restaurants only. Any unexpended amounts will be refunded in cash.

Gift certificates for these outlets are issued by Crown Gifts on behalf of these outlets and can be purchased and redeemed at these restaurants only. Bookings are recommended and subject to availability please visit www.crowngifts.com.au for restaurant offerings.
6. Retail Tenant Restaurants

Individual Gift Certificates for these outlets are issued by Crown Gifts on behalf of these outlets and can be purchased and redeemed at these restaurants only. Please contact individual restaurants for specific terms and conditions. Bookings are recommended and subject to availability. Crown Operated Restaurants certificates cannot be redeemed at Retail Tenant restaurants, please see Section 6 above.
All Gift Certificates and Gift Cards sent within Australia are shipped via an Express Post service and delivered by Australia Post. International orders are shipped via Australia Post Registered Post. Duties may be payable by the recipient. We accept no responsibility for Australia Post deliveries, please contact us within 7 days if you have not received your order. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
Promotions are subject to availability at the time of purchase. A Complimentary product cannot be exchanged or refunded for another product item as a result of change of mind. Crown Gifts promotions may be online only or in-store depending on the offering.
